The primary goal for all our camps is to challenge, encourage and reward our performers. Each year we strive to incorporate fresh ideas in choreography complemented by dynamic music choices. We find it essential to provide a well rounded variety of material to each and every group we teach.

Why should you choose a University camp?
University camps offer you the opportunity to come together as a team. No other camp experience can compete with coming to a University camp. Meeting teams with similar goals and challenges provides the ideal environment for success.

Who attends our University camps?
Individual participants, dance studio students, and/or members of high school, junior high school and university dance/drill, cheer and flag teams, baton majorettes and pom squads, winter guard and color guard. Ages for University camps are middle school, high school and university for dance, cheer and guard. All ages for baton twirlers.

What kind of choreography do we offer?
If you are looking for variety of routines to choose from, then DANCE MAGIC Camps are for you! Dancers will perform jazz, hip-hop, novelty, kick, props, and pom. Guard will enjoy regular pole flag routines, double flag, swing flag, saber and rifle routines. Twirler routines will feature one, two, and three batons, knives, and streamers.

Do you have different levels at your camps?
Yes. Levels are beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Teams can choose to split up and send members to different levels. This is for dance, guard, cheer and twirlers.

What about our staff?
We have a 24-hour on-site staff to assist you in every way possible. Our staff is carefully selected to make your camp experience the best it can be. We start working long before camp begins to create routines that exceed your expectations. We know you have a choice, and are glad that you've selected DANCE MAGIC.

Will marching be taught at your camps?
We offer marching classes for all teams. Drill downs are offered at all camps.

What about performing home routines?
DANCE MAGIC offers a chance for your team to shine! We want to see you at your best. That's why we offer a competition/show off day at every camp. We encourage everyone to participate. Generally, the competition is held on the last day of each camp.

Do you teach stretching techniques at camp?
Stretching is a very important part of camp, but more importantly, you need to take home new techniques that will enhance your flexibilities and performances. We know you will go home with a few sore muscles!

Does DANCE MAGIC select performers attending camp to perform at special events?
Yes, we do. Our University and private camps allow your team and/or selected members to have the chance to be selected as a member of the DANCE MAGIC All-Star Show Team to participate in our special performances.
